Well all, i did sleep better last night. I took 3 amytrptaline to help me. Thank you all for asking after me.

So pleased you slept - it must have been the new nail buzz! My friend has been taking 75mgs of amitryptaline for years for bad aches in her privates and she seems to feel no ill effect so having heard her tale I quite often take an extra if I need to sleep - it's still only 30mgs after all. My GP tells me it's non-addictive and as long as I take it early enough it seems to do the job well for me too - especially now that I've dropped the ibuprofen and co-codimol during the daytimes. TTx

They are fab, i love my nails too but i have changed over to Shellac as they are much better for your own nail.. I have even just ordered my own kit from Ebay so i can do them myself and can do my toes as well so I should save a fortune in the long run. The UV lamp has been delivered and just waiting for the polishes to arrive. I will let you know how I get on.

If they are your own nails well done, as i bite mine so they are rubbish without something over them.

Debs,not my own nails i'm afraid to say. I used to have lovely nails before ra and now they are so thin and brittle. You will have to post a pic when you get yours done.

Hi Sylvi, love the nails. I love being pampered too and like Debbie think Shelac is great cos it lasts so long. Just got mine done as we are off to York for our anniversary tomorrow! I am excited as this is the first time I have tried to go away since getting RA. A bit worried about walking and a different bed, but we can have lots of coffee if I tire I suppose. Axx

Allanah, makr sure that you have a stick to support you while your away,put pillows under your feet and head if need be,and ask for more where your staying. Happy anniversary how many years have you been together? Take your pain relive as well.

Aw, Sylvie, I knew it was you as soon as I saw the heading New Photo, as you promised. I am so impressed with those! Very attractive, but you have beautiful hands, untouched by deformities and bends and kinks, etc.

Have always loved doing my nails, when I worked, but now I'm afraid it would only draw attention to the crooked fingers.

Loretta my hands aren't as good as they used to be,even i've seen a difference in them. They don't want to function like they once did.

I'm suffering today, read my blog post viral and it will explain all to you. I am going to bed and to rest so i will blog more tomorrow.
