Welcome SlowDownThere - I would suggest reading up as much as possible here and elsewhere and getting in the positive and determined mindset to stop. Knowledge is power!!
Set a date and stick to it. Stay close to us here and we will help you as we all started off on Day 1. Personally, I would not recommend vaping as it is really only replacing one habit for another but if really struggling, you could get a 0% nicotine vape for the hand to mouth habit.

I used the vape with zero nicotine for about 4-5 months when I quit .
I would say vaping was very helpful.but as my body detoxed from nicotine , I didn’t even need it as much .just knowing I had the vape in my purse made me feel secured ..I was loving been smoke free so I really wanted to be prepared .
My personal recommendation is to make sure is a zero nicotine vape .
Another tip ,just in case ..is to quit caffeine and alcohol .Lots of failure stories specially the first 3-4 months
