To new beginnings being a non smoker. These past few weeks I have had zero triggers or cravings. This is a first. It’s been 9 months but I am preparing for the next round which should be in a few months. Anyhow since nit smoking I applied for a job in the healthcare field which is cool for me since I won’t smell like cigarettes to the patient and will be applying to a school secretary position which is cool because your not allowed to smoke on the premises. New opportunities are arising and I have the confidence to where before would ignore them.

Big congrats to you!! What a great post!

In the past I’ve felt very ashamed of being a smoker in the situations you describe. It’s so good not experiencing that horrible feeling any more.

Good luck! 🍀

Great positive and encouraging post KathieO - I too have new found confidence since I stopped smoking almost 3 years ago, lots of changes in my life and definitely would not have been brave enough to embark on and chase if I was still smoking.

Wishing you all the best in your new job/career :)
