Good luck Tracey, you can do this......

Good luck! And if you do call in at the shop, buy yourself a special smoke-free reward instead.

Tracey you just made me laugh with your concerns abt going to the shop.

The local shop won't sell me cigarettes (they know me well), if I wanted to buy them I would have to drive all the way into town to get a pack.

I'm still not carrying any money on me either, I'm now 9 weeks without a penny on my wallet for the same reason...

Like my colleagues at work say: "I'm attacking it Junkie style" LOL

Maybe I should count myself fortunate that my nearest shop is five miles away. And I don't have a car. That's a half hour walk to a bus stop and then a three hour wait in town for the return bus. So it would take me four hours in all just to go to the shops for a cigarette. But guess what, on bad days I've actually considered doing it! I even gave away my last "emergency" cigarette to my husband. I'm on Day Ten today!

....I'm glad the "emergency cigarette " is gone!

Happy days! I didn't realise you were already on day 10! Well done girl! Keep going, you can do it :)

Tracey my lovely, how is that going today? It's rotten having to go through the same thing again isn't it?! That's how I felt this time and that's why me and Linda made a pact of never doing this again.

Stay strong and I can't wait to see how you doing. Xxx

Here I am home from work, sooooooooo tempting, but no I did not go in the shop, phew close call.

Hoping tonigh is ok, will be hooked on the forum.

So lovely to read these replays, a huge inspiration

Thank you all

Well done Tracey, if you can tonight, do up a to do list plan to keep you occupied in the evenings when you get home from work for the next couple of weeks, I done that and it helped me greatly. you seem to be very positive and strong, keep going!

...think! one day almost gone!...temptation....hummm, you know better than that.

If you didn't really want to stop, you wouldn't be here, you'd be outside in the garden smoking :)

stay strong friend, deep breaths - a set of 10 calmly should do the trick, I had loads of chamomile tea and stopped coffee completely on the first weeks, that helped me to stay calm.

we're all here with you :)
