i usually cave when out drinking, so if anyone has any tips on not craving they would be appreciated
Well done Stu, 2 weeks is great!! I don't have any words of wisdom for not craving while drinking, in fact if I did - I'm sure I'd be a hero to a few others on this forum!! But from past experience I will say that alcohol and cigarette can be a dangerous combination But if we can keep it to just a couple drinks, then we are more likely to keep our wits about us, and have the control to walk away from a situation if the going gets tough
Well done Stu. Alcohol has been the downfall of many quits. I can now comfortably go out for a drink without craving but I do limit how many drinks I have. Eating out is the worst for me always end up craving but that's getting easier now.
I still don't have more than one drink under any circumstances, just in case I forget myself...
Well done stu making it to two weeks! x
That is indeed truly amazing, those weeks are adding up, and another bonus more cash, not to mention improved health.
Doing so very well and hope your quit, gets stronger and stronger
Brilliant
Whoop well done ........ keep up all that good work
Congratulations on your 2 weeks, Stu. I have to come clean...again.......and say honestly my alcohol intake has increased since stopping but I see others smoking and it just puts me off, I'm thinking I don't want to do that, disgusting habit, take a deep breath and I'm okay. I have been doing this since stopping but champix helped in the early days. I'm not taking champix now and seem to be still okay. Not sure if I entirely trust myself long term with alcohol and cigarettes but that's another issue.
