....or more exactly 93 days smoke free. The longest every. I haven't post much lately as I needed some time to adjust and control my own struggles....but happy to say I am still here.
What I have achieved:
Run 10k on new year's eve with a new PB without much training.
Gums bleeding again - circulation getting better
No coughs
More money - I think....
Feeling proud, proud husband, kids, family and friends
Renewed sense of being able to achieve anything if I can stop smoking
What I still need to achieve:
Believe me, I am not out of the woods yet, smoking thoughts still come and hit me out of nowhere - specially through the holiday season
Last week of the patches - next week will provide another challenge but I will become nicotine free
Eating too much
Grumpy
But in general I am very very happy and want to encourage early quitters to not give up, as it only gets better!!!
I want to thank all the people who helped me on the early days - Max, specially achieving his year now, Gemma Lou, glad to see you are back, jennigens, always encouraging words and lots more who I cannot name all here, but also just reading and reading the posts.
Good luck everybody and now for the 6 months milestone

Well done! 3 months is a great achievement and definately something to be proud of x
Not sure about that after chirstmas....managed to put half a stone even with the run - that is what happens when I go back home for two weeks with my mum cooking all the food I haven't tried for a while!
Well done Marta. I'm not that far ahead of you so I know exactly what you are feeling right now and you should rightly be very proud. Fantastic achievement and I am sure you continue to surprise yourself by how well you are doing. A quarter of the way to the penthouse as well, super achievement.
