Well day 10 started like the previous 9 days. I wanted a smoke first thing in the morning real bad. I fought through the craving and remembered the NOPE saying I've heard on here. My emotions are up and down. Happy one second then tense and anxious the next. After 10 days the desire to quit is still winning over the urge to give in. Please keep me in your thoughts.
Day 10: Well day 10 started like the previous... - No Smoking Day
Day 10
Well done for battling through it Russell
It's not fun for the early days, the mornings were a bad time for me as well but it doesn't take long to shake that and feel so much better
I hear ya Russelln - I am fighting those cravings too! Day 15 here. What is the NOPE saying? I have not seen that - and probably need to. Fight off those cravings!!! I am sure it will all be soooo worth it when we get past all of this. Better to have a couple of months of mood swings and cravings then to have years worth of oxygen hoses up our noses.
Well done Russell, keep the fight going, you are winning the battle - NOPE!!
Nice one Russelln, my first thought in the morning when I woke up used to be fag but not anymore....now it's a big pile of toast..
Hi Melzee
The NOPE saying is "Not One Puff Ever"!
Well done Russelin and all.
Best Wishes,
Smile X
Thanks!!!!
Thanks all of you. I think that i'm about 5 hours behind most of you that is why i'm not getting back to you right away. It is 9 pm here in the eastern usa and i can say that I beat the nic monster thus far. I think i would have caved by now if it weren't for this forum.

Russelln - East Coaster here too - VA. I was wondering what the time difference was. This forum has been amazing!!! I think I would have caved by now too! There are so many supportive people here. It's been a blessing. Stay strong - don't give in - fight the fight. You are doing great!
Great to see you getting into double figures territory Russell, that's a major achievement and you should be very proud of yourself! Keep pressing on through bud, I promise it's going to get sooo much easier really soon if you just hang tough and keep getting through it one day at a time. You really are doing a fantastic job so far so make sure you're rewarding yourself and patting yourself on the back for every obstacle overcome - those little treats to yourself help to reinforce that you're doing a wonderful thing for yourself and help to strengthen your decision so whether it's something yummy for dinner, a new CD, whatever, make sure you're treating yourself because you're earning it!
Thanks Kat. Your an inspiration.
