My speaking voice sounds different since I quit (4+ weeks now) and I don't like it, less mellow now and quite scratchy but hopefully it'll clear over the coming months.
Initially, my post-quit singing voice was like a wailing cat and it's improving but I won't risk belting out any tunes in public for a while.
Anyone noticed anything similar?

Can't say I have - only time I noticed any difference was when I'd been smoking a lot, then I'd sound a bit croaky, but am guessing I wasn't a heavy enough smoker, or a smoker for long enough to affect it?
I've noticed I can hit the high notes now whereas before my voice would just disappear when I got too high....I can now belt out Bat Out of Hell literally at the top of my voice whilst prepping the dinner...amazeballs
