Well as of 11pm tonight I will have been quit for a whole week!!
I am seriously proud of myself. Everything feels entirely manageable now and I really cant see myself ever giving in and going back to being a slave to the fags. I would never have thought I would have been saying that 8 or 9 days ago. I always classed myself as a MAJOR addict!!
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their encouragement and support. Its amazing how a few kind words from people youve never met or likely to meet can give you such a boost.
Many thanks guys

Well done you!!!! :D. You definitely should be very proud of yourself
I remember when I completed my first week smoke free, it seemed unbelievable!!! I'm now six weeks and one day today and honestly, like you, I cannot see myself ever smoking again.
I was always frightened to stop and whenever I half-heartedly thought about it it just seemed to make me smoke all the more!
The people on this forum, particularly Max and Kat are so supportive and give great advice - just knowing people are aware what you are going through really helps ...
Bring on week two!!! Good Luck (though I'm sure you will be fine!) x
