Slept in this morning and had no chewing gum all day ( just normal -I'm CT) only really missed smoking on way home. Can't believe day 14 already: it seems like yesterday that I was on neverending day 5.

When I was out with one of my friends on sat he told me he had given up, when I met him I found out he meant booze, so there was me with a pint , him with an irn bru and fags- what a combination we made!

I definitely missed the booze more over the first 10 days ( before I had a drink) that was the diversionary tactic I needed I am sure.

Aren't we doing fab? Keep up the good work. I know what you mean about trying to be in control of this. it's the only way.

Well done Trudy......14 days is grill and good to hear you are positive......all in all I am too very positive and enjoying not smoking......just a few wobbles along the way but learning to cope with them better now...
