6 months..thought it was easy .hit a crisis on friday...too much red wine big argument..result I smoked one fag..i loved it!!!! But had no more:) today, however the old cravings have returned..i would love to smoke..but I haven't..lesson learnt NOPE

Hmmmm - had exactly the thing happen to me at 6 months...red wine - argument - fag! :rolleyes: I sort of enjoyed it but it did make me feel a bit ill - and didn't get any cravings the day after...this weekend brought some cravings on for no reason but thankfully they were just extremly annoying more than anything.

Just shows that you've got to continually be aware - and never let up on the will-power pedal.

I think six months is an amazing quit and I would not say that having one cigarette whilst inebriated counts as a fail more of a blip. I think you are doing really well.
