6 Month Quit - Whoohoo!!!!

:) I can finally relax a little now I am in the 6 month room. The craves are still there, but less and less apart.

I no longer think about smoking minute after minute, I can go days without thinking of smoking.

I will not be letting my guard down too much, as I Know the craveds can creep up when you least expect it.

Penthouse next stop, I don't want to sound arrogant but I just knew I would do it, I haven't got anything to compare it with, in regards to this one feeling different, as this is my first quit. I just had so much conviction that I knew I would quit. :D

That's really great Jane - especially as it's your first quit!!

Don't think my first one lasted 6 days, forget 6 months!!

I guess when your mind's in the right place it helps and you've definitely got that. :)

Thanks Gem, do not underestimate the power of children :D I don't think I could have done it, had it not been for them. :)

Congrats Jane, yep its a gradual process and it takes quite a while to shake off the mantle of being a smoker.

6 months!!!!! Yeah you! That is great! You are right - don't let your guard down - and don't think for one second you can have just one cig. It seems like that is how a lot of people fall back into the trap after their first quit. Just think NOPE and you will be sitting pretty in the penthouse in no time! :D
