Hi Shojam,

It doesn't really have to be a battle you know, although I am the worlds best at turning it into one :rolleyes: But thinking about it, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a cigarette - smoking really doesn't float my boat anymore so what am I missing? We're not giving up anything really, but plenty to gain though better smell, no burnholes in clothes, easier breathing, more energy, healthier skin, longer life, the list goes on and on And it doesn't take very long to start feeling the benefits either. Just get through the first three days and that is the first hurdle done!!

So sit back and relax and celebrate your freedom from slavery to a stoopid plant :cool:

I like a challenge and like winning even more, must be the tough Scottish side of me, so I am saying bring it on. Zoe, you turn it into a battle if you want, it's your quit. I have read your posts and you haven't had an easy time of it lately so you do what you need to do to get through it.....good luck

Thanks Shojam, things haven't been easy just lately but I know I am not alone in that. Strange thing is, realising that I didn't enjoy smoking seems to have set me free so I feel as if I don't have to fight anymore. Dunno where this feeling came from, but I hope it stays cos it feeeels great :D

Ooooooo a wee challenge Capitan......I like it.....a lot. U r on, but as you will get there first I will expect all my luxuries to be waiting for me.....and a cuppa t without the ciggie of course:eek: thanks again everyone for your encouragement, I will be on here a lot over the next couple of months. My oh smokes so no support there then ha ha but I managed it the last time. Quitting is easy, staying quit is a struggle for me:mad:
