Stink like an old ashtray

Well folkes I made it through the first week, thought weekend would be tough but not really. I managed a drink friday night and no cravings yipeee!

Watched my boy play football sunday surrounded by smokers and it didn't bother me at all.

Met up with my heavy smoking buddy for a pint after football sunday and not once did I wish for smoke.

Someone puked in the communual hallway of the flats where I live, they've cleaned it up but I can still smell it. My nose seems to be ultra sensitive, in Asda I could tell who had been smoking, who had brushed their teeth.

But best of all, I dont stink like an old ashtray and felt really strong and healthy on my bike ride from B'mth to Sandbanks yesterday (monday) on my day off. 8 days stink free!!

haha this bit made me laugh i still go round asda thinking mmmm u have just had a fag mmmmmm your clothes and skin stink of real ground in smoke mmmmm you have just had a shower i can smell the fresh out the shower smell can even distingish which product they used lol

You both make me chuckle as my favourite new game is 'spot the smoker'

I am only into Day 12, but can I smell smoke? Oh yeah guys I was in the park the other day with nobody near me, and yet I caught a whiff of smoke. At first I went a bit paranoid and thought it was still coming from me. But eventually I tracked it down to a lady by the food kiosk about a hundred yards away. Coo blummy I didn't know it drifted that far:eek: So glad I don't stink like that anymore! I used to spray myself with perfume but what a joke - there is nothing worse than the combination of perfume and old fag ash - who was I kidding??

I am into Day 12 of my quit and I am so happy about it. I never thought I would be able to say that, I am so amazed!

Hi all yes the spot the smoker is really good my sense of smell is amazing now.

Did I smell like that!:eek: Some are really bad, was in the docs yesterday for a blood test, a woman walked past me whew, she just had a cig never noticed that before, what about non smokers they had to put up with it from us.

So happy now to be a non smoker, I come out of Tesco's now and pass the smokers and think glad that's not me I must have looked so common:rolleyes:
