welcome you will be fine no matter how hard it is it does get easier easier as you know for yourself being 2 years quit u just have to get through the early days

u are aware of the benefits no cough, freedom and smelling lovely etc you just have to stay strong take each hour at a time post here and read read read arm yourself with information

out of curiosity as i have read here and there people returning to smoking after two or three years etc and so i can prepare myself for this and hopefully prevent it can u share your reason/why it happened etc

is it you feel confident u can control the addiction or just a moment and u had one i just would like to know

hope the last paragraph hasnt offended or upset u i and curious wen i read long term quitters going back

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision to quit again :D

You are already 20 mins into your new life ;)

You may have forgotten what it was like at the start of a quit but you can be safe in the knowledge that you can ride it through as you have done so before.

Wishing you all the best, keep strong.

Well done you!!

Remember 'forearmed is forewarned', i would, like i did, have a good read of stuff on the forum, remember your basics, and the smoking triggers, there are seperate stop smoking programmes which are really good, and free....

keep us updated

hank you everyone 3 and a half hours done still feeling positive.

No boo I was not offened by your question I used to hear people say I quit for 3 years and then started again and think that will never happen to me. How wrong was i, me and a group of friends took the kids away for the whole of the six weeks school holidays with husbands just coming for the weekends when we put the kids to bed we would all sit round and have a few drinks and I would have the odd ciggy get up in the morning and think urg that stinks. But then the next night would do the same. Then we came home I just couldnt stop myself from having a couple, a few weeeks later and I was back up to 30+ a day fooling myself that I was in control and could stop at any time.

But this time I mean bussiness and have realised that it doesnt matter how long its been its best to stay away. Hope this helps.

good luck ONNA (lol almost donna :)) we both know what lies before us having done it before, but you know I think every time we quit things are a bit different, different triggers and stresses in our lives, but also differences in ourselves, perhaps we are stronger in some ways that will make things easier for us too this time round, best wishes to you any way, whatever the result it's good to be here trying, helping others, and letting others help us!
