7 months and the penthouse beckons

Hi all it's now been seven months since I had a fag ,really find that they stink now and can't stand the smell,for those that don't know me ,I have mylomea ,which is a bone. Cancer treatable but not cureable ,but should last a few years with a bit of luck ,still getting through 1-2 packs of gum a day but hey HO it's a lot cheaper than fags ,only another 5 months till I get to the pent house which is now the next mile stone and one I am looking forward to making ,oh well onwards and upwards

Thank you kat and kari,it really does help ,there are times when I think about it to much ,and then start to feel sorry for my self,but in my heart of hearts I know it is what it is ,so I just get on with it ,just had another grand son born ,Leo handsome little bugger ,and I got twin grand kids coming at Xmas boy and girl ,so plenty to look forward to,it gets a bit harder in the winter cold and dark ,now I've been disabled off, it can get a bit boring ,I do like my fishing and try to go as much as I can ,oh well onwards and upwards

Hospital test results

Hi all and thank you,went to hospital yesterday for results of blood test ,cancer no progression ,still there but not growing ,now have to have blood test every 3 months ,and they will phone me with results 10 days later ,so all in all a good result ,onwards and upwards people

Cheers max and a big thank you ,but there is no cure for myeloma ,but it moves slowly ,I can have stem cell harvest ,and then chemo ,I should be alright for a few years ,onwards and upwards
