I sometimes wonder how our quits would have been had we have not joined a forum? Eventually around you folk stop asking you how you're getting on with not smoking, they just think you've cracked it once you've gone for a month or so.. and they have no idea how much of an ongoing battle it can truly be.
Its a battle we on this forum are all making.. and in many ways together.. for many of us further down the line in our quits? we've been there.. where you are.. and its a good reminder to us when we read folks posts in the day 1-7 forums aswell as week 3 too, as we can see folk posting in the same way we once did. and my how quits change over time.
In those early days, you just need folk you can relate to.. or you just need that bit of encouragement to carry on. Sometimes, its the only thing thats truly keeping you going as that nicotine demon seranades you with his lies.
Basically although we are all just members of this forum, in many ways you are amongst friends here.. knowing friends at that. You probably share experiences on here that half your friends in your social circle don't get to know about, and thats great!
So well done for getting here, we know your battle, heck we've been there too.. and for some? are still there now.. but what matters is we are all claiming our victories, and its nice to have friends to share them with.
Just thought I’d pop a wee post on to wish you all the happiest of days!
Its lovely that I found the support of this forum, months ago.
I’ve felt supported through the trying times, the successful times, the blipped times, A huge journey its been and still is!
Thanks to all who have walked, still walk and will walk with me!

LOL! Funny enough though I am honestly in such a great mood and have been for nearly a week!! Feel I've turned such a huge corner.
My husband once said to me, marrying him stopped me becoming a serial killer! Bless him, so true though
Thats great news Christine, so glad you have turned a huge corner, I'm just over a month behind you (not counting my blip) and looking forward to turning a huge corner too - just hope there are no serial killers hiding there!! :D:D
