Just wanted to add, I have not been around for a little bit. This was because someone had upset me, I have got past this now and decided that this place is good for my quit and hopefully by posting I may even help a few others. Therefore I have decided to start posting more often again, because it is important to me and my family that I stay quit, and now I am aware of how some people operate it will be easier for me to deal with them.

So guys I am moving to the 6months room. Feeling really good, it is my OH birthday today and mine next week so we have a night out planned for the weekend, nice dinner with friends and I am sure plenty of wine and hopefully lots of laughs.

So much easier now than it was at the begninning, and more importantly so much easier now than it was even a month ago.

Stay strong, and as they say around here if I can then you can.

Good to read that things are better this month than even just a month ago..... encouraging I'm almost feeling I haven't felt much improvement in the last month or so and a big query that it has to get better has been hanging over my head for a couple of weeks.

All the best with the coming months and have a great weekend with great food, company and wine (and sore head,no doubt) celebrating your and OH's birthdays.

Pol, I felt that there was no improvement between about 3 and a half months and 4 and a half then that switch that bman mentioned started to flick, and now I feel almost fully flicked :eek:

Apologies for me not replying sooner, i've been quite beside myself with stress this week, and i've not been on the forum much except a few visits to the name that film thread.

Bev, I am really pleased to see you've stuck at this quit and made a proper go of it.. it matters alot to you to make a success of your quit, and in a world were we got brainwashed into thinking quitting would be incredibly difficult or next to impossible (if we ever would beleive them), its nice to be able to turn around to such folk and say 'hey well i've been quit for x months now just fine!!'

5 months done bev and now your in the 6 months+ forum... how good is that?!!! Its a long-stay room that one, but dare i say it, more relaxed due to the part of the quit you are on.. all in all a nice place to be.

Keep on being supportive to others as you are Bev, i'm certain it makes a difference to folk who are struggling a bit, and sometimes it just takes the right words.. at the right time to help someoone through a dark moment.

Congratulations and am very pleased to see you chalk up another month
