had really bad afternoon .crossed words with hubby..cant handle it him lighting up every 5 mins .ended up having one.was trying cold turkey.got into doctors after and they have given me some patches and inhalator`s so im ready and geared to try again starting tomorrow morning.had heart to heart with hubby and he said he would smoke outside again.so thats a start. i will prove i can quit .im not giving up i just cant smoke any more its making me ill i just feel so unwell.he is away with work this weekend so got 2 days to get through the worst .perhaps i will feel stronger etc for when he gets back. sorry to rant and rave.

BUT!! you sound like your at a good place mentally now Good luck for your quit hun... you can do this, you know you can and it's great that hubby has said he will go outside!!

I'm lucky really, cos it really does not bother me that my OH smokes in front of me ( I will not have him smoke in the bedroom though!! NO WAY.. not where I sleep buddy ) He has just gone back onto his roll ups.. which is even better.. cos they are more rancid than fags ( if thats possible ) so even more for me to NOT WANT ONE

And if you need to rant Ali... RANT RANT RANT and RANT some more!! this is what we are all here for!! xxx

Thanks greg,often read your posts and its great to hear of all the success stories gives me faith that i can quit too.

my husband is a lorry driver and its so easy for him to smoke if and when he wants . i would love him to quit with me as i also worry about his health etc etc.i am all or nothing and i feel breathless and ill most of the time i just know deep down i have no choice and i have to become a non smoker and start to make changes in my life style if i want to have a good quality of life. tomorrow is the start of my new life as i non smoker and i know i need to realise im giving nothing up im making things better.

All of us are here for you as long as you need us and we certainly won't give up on you ever

Already you have picked yourself up and gone to your Dr for help well done you now have patches and an inhalor to help you which will make it easier for you and your OH has agreed to smoke outside after a heart to heart which will also help you and who knows maybe he will follow your lead as I followed my Sons when he's ready

Rant as much as you want we don't care about that at all we only care that you succeed in something you want so badly for the sake of your health
