Hi Guys...sorry I've not been around...still hanging on in there...hope you are all doing well...big test for me next Friday...flying out to Tenerife....smokes were always a part of the holiday...what a sad statement that is!!!...but this time the cold lager will be accompanied by olives and conversation...doesn't sound too bad.....hopefully I'll be moving into month 5 when I return.....good luck to you all...and stay strong.

Cymro. I think you will be pleasantly surprised to find that the travelling is much improved when you dont have all that nonsmoking time in airports and planes to endure, dont know about the actual holiday, Is there a lot of smoking in Tenerife?

Hi MRSM.....good to hear from you......yes....you are dead right there....and no sneaking off from the poolside to have a sly smoke away from my daughter...she is going to be so happy about that...we can play pool or table tennis instead!!!.....regarding smoking in Tenerife...wherever in the Med and the Canaries I've been it seems to be rife....there again, I will have a whole new perspective on things...actually going out to the balcony to enjoy the view etc.....early morning beach walks for the sheer pleasure..not my first fix.....and not being embarrassed about leaving the restaurant table to satisfy my sad habit....all good...I have no doubt at all in myself...I will not smoke...and from this post I am actually convincing myself that it will be an even better holiday without the fags!!!!

I'm expecting photographic evidence of the martini mucker

There are some ground rules to the challenge though:

1) There must be an olive and ..... a little umbrella in it.

2) It must be drunk at night time ... preferably by the pool.

3) You must be wearing a skirt (red or blue if I remember correctly) ... (and if possible roller skates)

Shouldn't be too difficult mucker?
