I have been quiit for 2 Weeks, 1 Day and 47 minutes (15 days). I have saved £125.14 by not smoking 450 cigarettes. I have saved 1 Day, 13 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 27/10/2008 21:15
I do still feel physically weird..sleeping is slowly returning to normal...I have mouth ulcers and sore throat.... and fuzzy feeling (although this may be due to sleep being off for a while rather than nicotine).
On the whole though, provided I am not literally doing absolutley nothing at all...I dont think about ciggies or crave one... the only cravings I have had have been at stressful times...and even then they have been a matter of telling myself that the ciggies make stress worse not better..so wouldnt help....
Hope this improvement keeps up.... and hope I dont crumble in a weak moment!!!

Glad things are getting better, and I'm sure you'll find they get better still.
There are moments that we find ourselves tempted, the only way we can deal with them is to do nothing. Putting a cigarette in your mouth is an action and you must choose in-action. Simple as that just don't smoke, not always easy, but it is simple.
Cravings do come at the most unexpected times,I had one today it was like a sudden rush and took me by surprise, but it only lasted a minute,I just reminded myself of why I dont smoke and the benefits of not smoking.
Well done! 2 weeks complete means that soon you can reap the rewards as you will start to feel better. It takes longer for the fuzzy head and sleeplessness to leave some people - but it will go, and soon.
I personally think being a little scared of failure is a good thing, it keeps you focussed - but don't let it rule your days.

Brilliant!
I am on day 17 and have saved £81.60!
I know what you mean about feeling physically odd, I felt the same but I am back to sleeping right through at night and then cursing the alarm in the morning.
It is a great feeling isn't it? And to say we are free from the weed and will never be a slave to any substance or chemical again (apart from maybe chocolate truffles).
You won't crumble - if you have passed through the withdrawal phase as I have, then you will probably know that if you smoke now, it will be through choice rather than physical urge or compulsion.
I can't wait to hit the month marker.
This smoking thing, it isn't like you just wake up one day and feel dramatically different, it happens slowly and every day there are small adjustments, improvements and smoking just fades into the background day by day.
We are opening up like flowers in Spring (and smell just as sweet now)!
Please keep up the good work and I am right with you!!
