Sadly BB no one can TELL you what way you should quit.

That is a personal decision.

That's not true Austin, cold turkey, cold turkey, cold tukey.

BB, you should have a read through the forum and form your own opinion on which method for stopping works. There is a general thread for your perusal at your leisure.

There isn't really a need for cold turkey versus NRT debate tonight.

BB i dont know you and I dont know if you have been a member of this forum before but i will talk to you as if you are a new member.

I have tried NRT and Champix. I would say Champix is the better of the 2.

I personally can not go cold turkey. I would end up killing someone. I have no will power and can be a nasty cow when quitting smoking so i need all the help i can get.

If i was you i'd go have a word with your Dr and see if you can get Champix.

you are best ignoring these people, they do I give up and go away or get banned in the end, my user name used to be kickingbutt, i spent hours on the forum in the early days o f my quit, would not have suceeded without it, do not recall your name though , I have a few fall outs and my life was made hell on here some time back think CW had the best idea -one which it has taken me ages to learn to do, put them on ignore. it must be really boring when they start talking to themselves

IMO Cold turkey is swift death of the evil drug that has hijacked your life.

In the opinion of real statistics, people that quit CT have a higher chance of staying quit

Champix helps control cravings, better than replacing nicotine with nicotine IMO.
