I've reached 200 days today!!! I honestly never thought i would come this far! Thanks to extreme willpower and help from various sources including this forum it can happen I believe this time i have finally beat this demon!
To anyone that is struggling~hang in there....it is so worth it! I suffered from chronic bronchitus at least 3-4 times a year. I have not been sick at all since quitting smoking. They were the culprit all along. I will not go back because this has made me a believer in how evil they really are. Good riddins 4ever!!!

Thanks Linda~and you will! The power of positive thinking Now if I can get the hubby to join me. He got all the info and such for Chantix from the doc, but hasen't taken the leap yet. Hopefully he will get the courage soon, but i'm not going to pressure him. he is a much heavier smoker than I ever was!
Hi Edge! Well done! I sooooooo can't wait 'til I have gone as long as you! By then, I'd imagine I'd be getting on with my life not even thinking about fags at all
200 days is quite some feat! Good to know the horrid weed isn't winning ALL the battles! woo hoo!
That is fantastic - you are an inspiration to us all! I am fairly new to this forum and hearing stories such as these make my fight against the weed bearable.
You have done a great job and I am sure you will spend the rest of your life breathing pure freshair and hopefully not giving a second thought to the horrible fags!
Congratulations - it must be a wonderful feeling - I shall be somewhat relieved when I reach that stage - can I ask - are you ever tempted to smoke after all this time? Read your post that you never would go back - BUT are you just maybe sometimes tempted!!!
lol
sue
Unfortunately, I have to say yes. It comes as quick as it goes though. At this point it is meerly a thought! I can be around smokers and be just fine. It's all about willpower
It is a wonderful feeling! I hope everyone makes it this far and beyond
Congrats to all who are hanging tough! I know its not easy sometimes!!!
Every time I see OTE using those two words together...'hanging tough'...I am haunted by a 'New Kids On The Block' song called, funnily enough, 'Hanging Tough' It takes FOREVER to then get the tune out of my head! lol
Wouldn't be so bad, but I can only remember one line of the song...and thats 'Hanging Tough'
