Hi Jan!

I am back - so sorry you were left on your own so long!

Today was my first (albeit very short) flight as a non smoker and I am so tired. Short day flight to Luxembourg (of all places...) for 1 meeting. The flight was delayed this morning due to fog at City and I survived without a cigarette! Amazing! So nice not to have to puff angrily before check in and then sit and wait for the next puff!

I travel regularly on business and always dread the long haul ones - especially to the US. Today is the start of my 5th week - so chuffed!

Hi Cat - congrats on your first cig-free flight. Due to go to Tenerife in two weeks. It will be interesting to see how I do when the smokers in our party go off for their cigs before boarding and when we get there.

Well done on this and I am sure future flights will be a doddle:D.

It was a bit odd - a little like "the first time without a cigarette" going shopping, in the car, going out, getting angry, with my coffee, after <...> - I guess there will be more first times to come...

I am sure there will be more first times. It's not the flight as we've been a couple of times so I'm used to that. In fact I'm hoping it will be easier this time. It's more before, after and at the resort that I'm worrying about but if I stick with those that don't smoke I should be okay and let the smokers do their own thing. I'll let you know how it goes. Anyway it will be nice to get these old bones warmer for a while. Do a bit of swimming, providing the water's not too cold, just to keep the weight down a bit.

Hope you're feeling less tired and a bit more relaxed now.

Louby - you will be here sooner than you think! Although it seems like ages away and also because we all suffer from some kind of time distorsion when we crave- it makes it look unattainable but somehow we get there day by day.

Morning everyone - yes where are all the men. As for being shy - I don't believe it for one minute!!!:rolleyes:

Jude - Looking forward to my hol, it will be nice to get some warm sun and rest.

Taking this aft off as I am decorating and need to get on top of it all before I go away - oh is about as useful as a chocolate teapot! Could do with a decent cheap decorator to help:rolleyes:
