Well this is the last day of the 4th week for me. Had a few smoking thoughts yesterday which were persisting and quite evil in nature (trying to persuade me that I should have a puff to see if Champix was really working...)

I had another one of those dreams last night - this time I was being chased by cannibals...

Chuffed to see the team is growing. I am sure a suitably fitting name will be chosen. I will not be able to post tomorrow as I am travelling (wish me luck as it will be my first time flying as a non smoker in some time - actually curious as to how that will be like but hopefully so much better than chewing gum and having hiccups for hours!)

Dave - congratulations for tomorrow on reaching the full calendar month milestone. It is great!

Please can I join this team, quit on 28/1/08, 26 days today!!! I well pleased with meself. Had the smokealyser test done today and a 1 reading again, so well happy.

I'm grateful to be a part of a strong team. Even though I'm not here everyday, knowing that I have support in my team mates will help further me along. I want to beat my longest quit time of 8 months. I know I'll be cured if I can make it to a year.

Amazingly, I don't think about ciggies often, but when I do, the urge to have one comes and goes quickly. I don't come here that much anymore because it makes me overthink about ciggies. I get anxious. So I keep my time here limited.

I want you guys to know that I'm very thankful to all of you for your amazing stories and your struggles. It's been a wonderful feeling to know I'm not alone in my feelings.

Hi everyone, nice to see the same old names on here as well as the new ones. Not been on for a while, been ill had steroid injections in my knee so i've been grounded in bed!!!! bored rigid but not had a fag. got a new habit now - red skinned peanuts!!! at least i can eat them in public without been given dirty looks!!! catch ya all soon & well done for staying strong x
