Wow I canit believe I have actually managed to get to count in months. Without any cheating or lapses I am truly amazed. Champix really is a wonder drug.
And....I can honestly say it has not been too bad at all. A couple of down days and "the gums" issue but the cravings have been easily managed, infact perversly I enjoy the cravings, they remind me I am winning this fight...yeh weird I know.
This forum is just fab, it has really helped when I have been down and it does help to be part of a group....so thank you one and all.
I would offer round the wine and chocs but so chuffed with myself this morning I have polished them off myself already.....hic
Jack... I hope you are still with me...I'm competative but dont want to win easily...

Don't be giving toooo much credit to the Champix Quitting was your decision and each day you got through smoke free was your choice to stick with and see through, your decision.

Thanks for this Pol...I do give all the credit to Champix as I have failed so many times in the past going CT.....but you are right it was my decision, if I had not wanted to stop no amount of Champix would have made me.
I'm so proud of you my love, you are the rock of this group and I am so chuffed for you. My aim has always to get to 1 month so I think that is a major achievement.
Disappointed you ate all the chocolate (however not surprised:)), however you deserve them.
Lorna and Elisabeth - Great news well done. You are now officially 'Month Two'ers' - we've been waiting for you in the Month Two area. Last one in gets the drinks.
