Maybe we should have a post your pet thread. I could post my goldfish who is called Grumpy cos he looks dead grumpy like really pissed off grumpy. I don't know what the matter is with him cos he gets decent grub, gets loads of plants, to swim about in, there's even a crocodile that spits out bubbles and some other playmates. We have a hoover fish which is cool cos he eats up all the algae - shame you can't have one of those to do the carpets and just let them get on with it!!!

KaKa is an excellent name - very mystical - does it sound good when you call for him to come in?
I will take a photo of Grumpy and you will see that he does not look vacant he looks heavily pissed off - like Victor Meldrew but as a fish. I keep expecting him to say 'I don't believe it' when I put his fish food in!!

Just given Matthew his bunny back cos he threw him over the edge of his bed and can't sleep without him. He's called Nibbles and Matthew says he's real - apparently he really is????? He's a bit like Munkety Tunkety on BB as he even has a special voice!!

Sorry I'm late to this thread, I've had a busy day 'off' packing, carting my bike down to Bracknel for a service while I'm away, sorting out mrs s's new machine and visiting the doc as I've got a nasty ear infection - could've done without that to be honest. Now I'm half deaf and can't chew! Seems that after many years of rude health, I must now get used to being less than rude.. mmm.
Anyway, enough of you guys, let's talk about me

Sorry to hears you are poorly - there's a lot of it about. The children and I have tonsilitus at the moment. Ear ache is one of the worst things cos it hurts everything - you poor lovey. Have you got a nice hot water bottle that you can put a pillowcase over and rest your poorly ear on? I'm going to get a flu jab in 2 weeks cos as I am a full-time carer I cannot afford to be ill. The doc this morning was good cos even though he wouldn't give me antibiotics though I wanted them - cos he said it was viral - he said I had to go straight to the walk in centre if I felt worse as they cannot afford for me to be any iller.
What day are you leaving to go away Steveh? and will you be able to check in with us once you are abroad?? I bet Mrs Steveh will miss you very badly - ahhhhhhh.
Well Mr Steveh you have a great weekend too and hopes you feel much much better ready for a new week on Monday.

And we all need each other to get through this - so no notes for absentism accepted. It is highly recommended that all team members wear a kit or you may get arrested for indecent exposure!! Training days everyday - matches every day - relentless punishing schedule - aaaaaa but the rewards are great.
Just think of all the money that can be spent on a great holiday; or a new load of clothes; or a motorbike - ooooooooooo yes love it!!!!
So buckle in, heads up, focus cos we're going to win!!!

totally agree that everyone is superstars. But this was posted as a post for everyone who is at a certain point in their quit just as you are and everyone else is - and there are individual sections for those threads. I have never gone on a thread where it was aimed at 4 months smokers and demanded it be changed to suit everyone else.
It is a shame you feel the need to criticise me over the forum and leave messages that are siarchastic in tone. I have never done this to you.

Awww, that's terrible that you can't sleep. Night work - ewwww! I don't think I could ever do that, mind you I like nightime. It's only 9:37pm here right now but it feels like 1am. I live about 25 minutes east of Toronto
The nightshifts are not that bad really, it's the next day off you get, you just can't adjust your body clock!
The 2nd week in Ontario we went to the falls, now thats fantastic.
But the best bit of the trip was going to watch the Leafs play. GO LEAFS GO!

OH WOW, thanks for that NS4M! Yes we did it's mind blowing. We also walked over rainbow bridge into USA and took a walk around their park, what a lovely place. We have our own local team near ourselves called Coventry Blaze, they have won the title twice in a row, and I nearly fell over when we went to the hockey hall of fame and seen Coventry Blaze in there!!:eek: .
We are thinking of moving to Nova Scotia, but that will be a few years yet though.

Sorry I went offline - I went for a swim and then into the hottub. Hubby turned the heater on the pool and the temp was 88 degress...like soup. The hottub was 100 degrees so it was nice...it is a bit chilly out tonight and a little windy. I will chat with you soon.

Aw..I hate being a women - it sucks...and I feel tearful when I am on my period too. I have this great medication for it though called 'Midol'...i love it! Do you have that in England...it really helps. I hope you soon feel better though. Mmmmmm soup sounds good right about now. Put a hot water bottle on your lower tummy and that might help too. You know, sometimes a good cry can help too. Let it all out
My tummy feels okay so the pumpkin pic wasn't a problem...but my head is sore, my throat is a bit sore, the right side of my face is sore and i feel under the weather thats all. It's also a rainy crappy day here too so that doesn't help.

Oops I fogot to answer your question abot Midol. Yes it is a pain reliever, but Tylenol and stuff like that doesn't work for me when I have my period...Midol is excellent for that pain. Maybe you can order online or something...I think it's worth it. Makes me a little dopey though lol....maybe thats what we need when we feel like that though....dazed out and comfortable. No pain, no thoughts, just feel a lil' stoned and happy
