Are we proud to be quitters? You know I've not thought about it as much since I started no sleeping and washing machine tummy. I shall open my back door in a minute and breath in some fresh air and let you know how I feel then.

But we're doing well aren't we hey? We're on day 13 - wooo hooo.

Have you got a smoking money pot coz I have - all those pounds could come in very handy for a nice treat. Mmm I'll have to think what I would like.

Gosh it's the tossing and turning thing and clock watching all the while. I swear to goodness I look like a granny panda bear this morning coz my eyes are so dark and I look so haggered. But I'll have a shower in a while, put on my make up and then that'll make it better - hopefully. But I may get some ice cubes to stick under my eyes to see if they take the puffiness away.

How are you getting on lovely - very well I hope? It's brilliant being able to talk to you being in America - gosh the brilliance of modern technology...

Well if you were sleeping properly I would not get to have late night chats with you because of the time difference but I would talk to you in your afternoon and my morning. I sleep on and off, tossing and turning and watching the clock. You should try a tea called "sleepy time tea" or "nighty, night" tea. It is herbal and it helps me sometimes.

Anyway my love - i am off to try to sleep now as it is 1:09am here. Have a grand day and i will talk to you later!

Pretty proud and quite happy to be a quitter Sure, my parents tend to completely ignore my quit like I never even was the 30 cigs a day heavy smoker they used to know - which I find hilarious - and colleagues who smoke tend to avoid me like I creep them out or something - which is the weirdest thing because I certainly have not turned into one of those annoying ex smokers who seem to make it a point in life to bash all the smokers around them, in fact the opposite as I'm not bothered by smokers, I do not avoid them at all and I don't obsess over my quit when I talk - oh well, not my problem so all's good

Oh well done you you're doing so well. Don't worry about other people and what they think. Those who have never smoked don't have much of a clue at all Mr P is like that hasn't taken any notice that i've quit yet when I smoked complained all the time about me smelling.

I just focus on me and you guys and you focus on you because it is your life that you are saving so you go girl!!

I ate a little bit more today which was good coz I've now lost 8 pounds in 4 days coz I couldn't eat.

I weighed myself today when I went for physio on my back and I have put on 17lbs since I quit! Do you think I should cut down on the choc and ice cream and cream cakes and crisps and chips? I knew I had gained a lot but that was a bit of a shocker!:eek: :eek:

Don't think I want what you have got though! Poor old you, I am sure you don't deserve all this hassle.
