After a pretty poor week trying to kick off the lastest no smoking campaign I have finally found a morning where I feel invincible!!!!
For those who don't know, I gave up on the 10th June 2007 for 20 days (Cold Turkey). I had a few bad experiences during the 20 days (Shopping with the wife, and taking my 5 yr old Son out shopping) but all in all it wasn't that painful.
I have spent this week tidying up my loose ends and have also been trying to stop smoking nearly everyday (With no success).
I think what made the difference today, is that yesterday I finally finished building our bungalow after 3 years. We moved in 1.5 years ago and over the last 8 months we've been laying the drive (The last paving brick was laid yesterday at 3 pm)
However, who cares why I feel on top of the world... I just do... And that's all I need to start my no smoking campaign.
Bye for now... Good luck and stay strong...

Oh well done Gav mate, you just can't go rushing and compromise on quality. When the roofs all fixed up I bet your missus will be just made up about it.
Good luck with the quitting and drop in once in a while when the wife and son are out shopping and let us know how it's going.
Good to see you again Gav. Well done on laying that last brick and for continuing to try to quit. Keep it up...you'll get there. That is what we are all striving for in the end...100% smoke free, habit free.
