Urine odor has changed

I shared that I am still in Rituxin treatment every 3 months for Mantle Cel NHL until July 2017. Something I have noticed is a foul odor of my urine. Sometimes burning. Had it tested and no infection. I try to drink only water and occasional ginger ale. no changes in other medications. Has anyone else had a foul smell?

I thought my urine had a very strong smell for awhile when on Rituxan. My oncologist didn't think it was anything significant. It only lasted a few months for me. Have you checked with a urologist?

yes and he told me to ask oncologist and my oncologist was like dumbfounded ... not had any complaints at least... i checked Rituxin side effects and couldn't find anything about it there.

Maybe this side effect isn't listed, but apparently some of us experienced it. I always seem to get the side effect that's listed on the tiny print at the bottom of the list. I was always annoyed when my young oncologist would say that he didn't have any patients with this or that side effect. I felt like saying "Well, you do now!"

Oh my gosh! I thought it was just me so I haven't said a word. I increased my water intake until I was sloshing when I walked but no change in the funky odor. So I figured it must be other meds I'm taking... glad to know I'm not the only one.

thanks for your reply... I know I was the same way and hesitant to say anything, blamed it on cranberry pills, others stuff. But it just won't go away. no infections, so it has to be the Rituxin.. but sometimes if I hold bladder too long it burns. i hope you are in remission... I take the rituxin infusions until July of this year.
