in the last few months my GFR has gone from 32 to 38 and now today falling to 30.  My creatine has gone from 1.2 to 1.4 to 1.7.  I see my Nephrologist in 2 weeks but I'm just very scared.  Any words of wisdom would be appreciayed!

this sort of thing can happen readings can be different form even one day to the next just try not to worry they may be able to stabilize you out & keep you around that mark of 30 depends whats causing the ckd x

I agree with Phillen and no need to panic as I admit I did as these figures can change daily. My husbands nephrologists opinion is that a few points here and there is nothing to worry about the 30s are OK and can be maintained for years.  It does depend what is causing this, in my husbands case any infection hit his kidneys very hard and he had quite a few.  Fortunately been infection free for a while. I hope you find your nephrologist is able to give advice and encouragement that there is not a great deal to worry about...( this was our nephrologists view when we first saw him 8 months ago my husbands eGFR was 27....since then 32, 36, 37, then a drop to 31 and at the last visit 37..... nomore tests until later in June, but will be happy enough if the 30s are maintained..... Love Belle x
