Hello All,

Would like to know out of curiosity. Has anyone had Iron Infusions while having Kidney tumors? If yes, do you know if it can cause them to grow faster or spread. My last scan was in Sept 2024 and the tumors were stable. I had a one off iron infusion in October 2024 and was unwell for a while after it. My ferritin is now 664 with transferrin saturation at 85% since infusion but ferritin was 27 before infusion. I have not had any further infusions since but just wondering if infusions of iron can cause tumor growth/spread or if you have had kidney tumors and has iron infusions with no issues?

Thanks!
