I would wait as you stated” six months to a year “, to give the surgery area time to fully heal especially on the inside.

I was actually wondering the same thing last weekend I went to an event and I didn’t like the way my outfit a lot so I was going to put on a girdle but was a little afraid to just thought it might pull things a little too tight and I had my transplant in January 2021. I think this is a question that we both need to ask our transplant team. Good luck to us on sucking it in!!! LOL
