Major hair loss
Yep..... like a lot of people on here. My experience was of major loss at around 6 months. It’s returned but it’s different. I have to be honest I struggle lo s massively with it . I just don’t feel me anymore ... that said being in lockdown, not going out and life being rather odd we are all feeling strange.Try The Peptide Hair Serum by The Ordinairy Co....
it will get better and obviously there are worse things that can happen than having bad hair...
Slow adjustment to all the changes and try not to focus on it too much .
Hi Moe37,
I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I know how you feel. I'm hoping that one I get the covid vaccination, I can finally go to the salon and see if my stylist can help me.
I’ve been going to the salon but it’s definitely the medication. I suggest going to a dermatologist. I’m gonna go this week. Praying for the best for all of us . It’s just hair but sheesh lol.
Not sure how far out from a transplant you are, but unfortunately hair loss is a pretty common side effect. I take Neoral (cyclosporine) and Myfortic (cellcept). I started losing hair at about 6-8 months out, and by a year and a half mine started to come back. What was weird, my hair came back curly. No problems for me since.
I had hair loss. Only on my head. I have heard of hair loss on legs. This was early on and then it grew back. Then, the Imuran took a toll on my hair. When I was switched to mycophenolate my hair grew back better then before it fell out the first time. Basically, it should grow back. I've never heard of it not growing back.
Hoping mine comes back as well
Am 6 years post transplant & been through all the hair loss & emotions. Am now wearing wigs &,enjoying every minute. In fact, I've become a wigaholic!! Embracing the change & loving it!! Give it a try!! Lots of friends & support!!
I do too, I was wearing them before transplant because I wanted to not because I had to lolll
I too was experiencing slight hair loss after transplant. I started taking 10mg Biotin every morning and using Biotin shampoo and conditioner and in 3 months I noticed a big difference, my hair is getting thicker and getting back to the way it used to be.
