Covid-19 and creatinine
Hey well I dont know if this really helps but I when 3 weeks ago to check for covid and to see if I have antibodies and I came out negative for covid but positive for antibodies which mean that I been exposed to it or had I was shock but my creatine just when up a little no big change and also my kidney dr told me.that he had a patient with covid and the creatine stayed the same take care ...
Thank you for answering!! I think unless you've had it severe, creatinine should be okay in theory...but we will just have to find out next week. Just had my labs done
Ook good luck just letting u kno I had my kidney transplant 19 years ago my creatine when from 1.3 to 1.4 then 1.5 but not too worry I did eat meat during the holidays so I knew it was going to be a little high also it goes up to 1.5 then down to 1.3 so not really worry just drink lots of water
I had COVID and my creatinine was still decent. What affects creatinine is moreso your hydration levels than any sort of infection.
Had COVID 19 a few weeks ago; my latest labs show normal creatinine and everything else.
I had COVID around the New Year. My creatinine actually went down a bit 1.4 to 1.2. Anxious to check again soon to where it is now that I have returned to “normal “.
I have COVID-19 now and my creatine has been going down since came to hospital. It went as low as .87 this morning. The doctors are saying that I might be loosing muscle as a result of low creatinine.
Thank you for all your inputs. My creatinine did rose a little but nothing new. It went from 1.4 to 1.6 which I had before. Doctor thinks its from covid dehydration as it hasn't been that long since my recovery!
