My husband recently had a transplant an is on Cellcept/Mycophenolate. It appears it is not recommended to conceive/donate sperm when on those. Any advice? Thanks

Pregnancy/IVF post transplant and Cellcept/Mycophenolate concerns.
These concerns you should discuss with his transplant team. We are not medical experts here, and can only comment from our own experiences. Best of luck!
I had my transplant a few weeks ago & my Drs said I should be off the Mycophenolate for at least 6 months before trying to conceive to fully get the meds out of your system because there are risks for birth defects.
looks there is no problem for a transplant male patient to father a child, see this article:
I had 2/3 of my kids while on Cellcept. No warning was given and they are doing great— now ages 12 and 16.
When I was going through the entire process, the medical team was only concerned about female patients as they actively carry the child and share blood flow. Definitely talk to his medical team, but as far as I could tell (I'm female and 10 months post transplant) there would only be a problem if mom was taking the cellcept
