Can someone tell me if products containing CDB oil is safe for dialysis patients awaiting transplant? I get conflicting opinions from different nephrologists. Thank you!

HI TtampaSafe is a relative word. Does it work? That's a different question. It depends on what you are hoping for. I took CBD oil for over a year. The only thing it did seem to do is help a bit with anxiety. Otherwise, it did nothing help or hurt my CKD, diabetes or other issues. I was hoping for pain relief and did not really get any from the CBD. A good product was quite expensive and the bang for the buck was not worth it. I would use it again for calming if it was still quality product but less than $90.00 a bottle.

Bossetmommer, thank you for the info. You answered what I needed. Doesn’t sound like it be worth the money at this time. Thank you, and good luck!

Hi Ttampa77. If you're called in for a transplant, some centers will look for CBD in your labs and turn you aside then and there. Others don't seem to mind. This question often comes up in other forums, particularly FB forums. You can always ask your transplant center re its policy as some have done, although I would probably then worry about the center keeping an eye on me. It would be really nice if all centers disclosed their position upfront about these type of things.

Not what you're looking for?
