We have been told by our clinic doctors to call the charge nurse if we show symptoms of the coronavirus (cough, fever, or shortness of breath). Talk with them about whether you should come to dialysis or go to the Emergency Department. Dialysis is available at the hospital. Also, we were told that we should wear a mask during dialysis if we were actively coughing. Personally, I wouldn't skip dialysis - that is far more dangerous to your health. The staff always wear personal protective gear when they put you on and off the machine.
