I've done some searches on the net for post-transplant diet or recipes and have not been very successful finding anything. I'm trying to find some recipes for the person that will be taking care of me post-transplant when I get the call, allegedly in the next month or two.
If anyone finds a good site I can share with my caregiver, I will appreciate it. I asked my Transplant Coordinator and she said the Renal Dietician will have information after the transplant. I am sure she will, but my caregiver is the "planner" type who wants to get a general idea for meal planning.

Your caregiver will have plenty of time to plan. You'll be on a liquid diet for a bit of time.
Thanks. The HepC study alleged "short" waiting time is frustrating! 😬 Packing and unpacking and preparing to get the call is different from the regular "Wait List wait". Thanks for the info.
When I had my transplant I really was not put on a specific diet. I was told to follow a heart healthy way to eat. I still watch my salt intact also. I pretty much eat whatever I want. I am 20 years post transplant with a stable creatinine of 0.9
