Hi everyone I don’t think I post in here in awhile. How’s everyone doing..?? Far as me I fell into deep depression my mother died October 24 2018 and she was a 25 yr dialysis patient she fought a long fight. I’ve been on dialysis 9yrs if she can do I know WE all can..! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

My father also had CKD and was ultimately placed on home hemodialysis. That was 38 years ago. My mother and I were his dialysis care partners. He lived close to three years on home hemodialysis before he passed.

It was certainly hard at first; I missed him a lot. He was such a great example of how to live well with a serious chronic condition. With time my grief was replaced with good memories.

I've felt his presence over these past 8 years following the diagnosis of my CKD. Hopefully you will feel your mother's spirit routing you on as you navigate your own journey with CKD.

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m sorry for your loss. & keep the faith. I know some days are better then others. I’m grieving extremely hard it’s only been five months but I know in time things will get more easier to deal 💚

I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. It’s easy to sink into depression, it’s a constant struggle. But on the bright side, she did very well on dialysis and sounds like you are too! You’re in my thoughts and prayers 😀😀
