Peritoneal Dialysis : Leg pain and Back pain

My Father is undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis for the last 1 Year and Half and he is having leg pain and back pain... He is 66 Years old can anyone share your advise on how to get rid of this and live a simple healthy life

Immediately report this to your consultant. They need to know an d sort this out and the sooner the better.

Thank you for the reply. He is visiting the physician very often but no sign of improvement. Can you please suggest any physician who can look at his report and provide us the guidance.

Leg cramps and leg pain may occur after a dialysis procedure. It commonly occurs if large amounts of weight are removed. I would recommend that you speak with his physician.

You need to go back to your gp and investigate this. It sounds as if sciatica is the issue and it may or may not be related issues. An mri may be needed to look for the cause.
