Experiencing Edema on Feet

Hello everyone, Has anyone been experiencing edema on either their feet or face after dialysis treatment?

A few weeks ago I have been getting edema on my face. To make the swelling go away I wipe or compress a cold towel on my eyes. The water eventually comes out on my eyes on it's own.

Lately I have been getting edema on my feet. In the morning when I wake up the swelling (from the previous day [because I do my peritoneal treatments at night]) has gone away but throughout the day the swelling comes back. I try to watch how much water I intake and what I'm eating.

Does anyone have any home remedies I could do during the day to make the swelling go down / go away so it is not as bad as it is during the day or when I sleep so I don't have to increase my solution?

i used ice instead of drinking water and that took me along way and eventually pulled very little at each treatment so my suggestion is try ice and reduce fluid intake with time it will go away

I love ice. I have been trying to chew ice rather than intake a lot of fluid. My edema has been going away because I been switching up my solutions (per nephrologist orders) & my edema on my feet has been gone.

Thank you for the suggestion!
