Does this make sense?

My husband had an episode of going stiff and unconscious the other day. He's in the hospital and Drs. haven't explained to me what happened. Does this sound like anything to do with CKD Stage 4-5?

Thank for your reply. I will if I ever get a reason that makes sense.

I do not think so. I hope he will be OK. Did he have a stroke?

He had a Ct scan and an Mri. Dr. said his head looked great for a 90 yr old man. Thanks for your reply.

Sounds like a transient ischemic attack to me. Next time you visit him in hospital talk to whoever is caring for him that shift and let them know that you wish to see a doctor to find out what they think has happened and what the treatment/medication is and whether it’s likely to happen again. Don’t be fobbed off with the nurse telling you Hopefully treatment will be simple like a blood thinner

Neurologist said no stroke. He also has parkinson's so they think it is related to that. Thanks for your reply.

That makes sense. I didn’t realise he has Parkinson’s. Such a wicked disease. Hopefully it’s a one off. Hugs to you both

Yes, the 2 diseases definitely are rough together. Very confusing. Thanks.
