i was sent to the er last month with fluid building around the heart and in the lungs.two days ago during my docs regular visit he found fluid in the lungs and around the heart...agaiin.i see a cardio on the 19 th.he wants labs at the end of the week and says if theyre not good off to the hospital i go.crossed fingers and toes would be appreciated.

my husband has Parkinson’s but in August after having gallbladder removed he developed fluid around right lung. Turns out after 3 visits to ER and a few days in hospital he has been diagnosed with chronic heart failure. Now on potassium and two other pills that make him urinate a lot. His heart is good but the heart muscle doesn’t pump strong enough to rid the body of the fluid.

Also on a low salt diet and fluid restriction of 64 oz. Per day. Believe me this is difficult to do. But he is doing aok so far. The Parkinson’s give him more trouble than the chronic heart disease. And he’s 86 yrs. Old and has developed some dementia.

All this to say, you will be ok, don’t stress. Hope I didn’t scare you more, not my intention. We pray a lot and realize that God is in charge and will not put on us more than we can handle……God bless you.
