I do have a question about Web MD referencing the test might not be accurate for elderly, but no definition for elderly. I think am in this group but have regular eGFR tests. Know that age is a factor in the calculation. Thanks for the good links.

Agreed. Many factors figure into the egfr.

Mayo Clinic, Davita and NKF are more reliable.

Your nephrologist can figure this for you as well if you ask.
