Has any one tried Kidneyshield capsules?

are they useful in enhancing kidney function?

I have become cynical about herb mixtures. For one thing, the supplement industry is like the wild-wild western front of disease fantasies- that is, very poorly regulated and selling you wishes, not realities. No herbs or foods (cranberries) are proven to help kidneys, though the high acidity of cranberries may be good for some kinds of bladder problems. The vegan mostly plant-based diet I've been on for 2 years has helped my health and kidney numbers a lot, you'll hear the same from many folks here. Though some types of CKD will progress regardless.

If they really helped your kidney function every doctor would be telling us to take it. There is no "cure" for CKD. Once damage has been done it is not reversible. With proper diet you can stabilize your condition as many on this site have done. Don't waste your money on pills that won't help.

Be careful of supplements they could do more harm. Always ask your nephrologist. My nephrologist said it was ok for me to take PRORENAL+D WITH OMEGA 3 it's a multivitamin. They are not expensive they have a website. Watch DadviceTv.com. CKD and has lot of good information
