My annual blood screen showed all OK except creatine up 40 % to 135 and gfr 51, stage 3a kidney disease. A second test showed normal 95 and gfr 74.

But it also showed albumin 1+

Don't be too alarmed. this happened to me too. GFR can vary, hydration, what you ate the night before, acute kidney due to medications. I would go see a nephrologist. They told me mine was acute due to overly medicated blood pressure meds. Eventually, it came back to normal limits but never what it was before the acute injury.

this has reassured me. I had a routine blood test & checked every think came back GFR 50, high creatinine, urine test normal, awaiting my second blood test results 5 weeks apart, I’ve been petrified! Suffering anxiety because of this result. The day I had my blood test I had been in gym lifting heavy weights, I had 3 caffeine drinks & glass of water, a roast pork sandwich before gym & I read that all can raise creatine, since that first test I have quit nicotine, limited alcohol, caffeine mainly once a day, limiting red meat & protein, stopped going to the gym, not too any over counter, im praying this result comes back higher GFR & does Any one know what mornsk means for urine when they was checking my creatine album ratio I think, thank you, oh in 41 by the way xx

Thanks for the replies, I went elsewhere for another test which showed pretty much back to normal, creatinine 99 and gfr 74.

But I do not understand what albumin 1+ means.

What is normal albumin level range?

To learn what the results mean for you, talk with your healthcare provider. Results are given in grams per deciliter (g/dL). A normal albumin range is 3.4 to 5.4 g/dL. If you have a lower albumin level, you may have malnutrition. It can also mean that you have liver disease or an inflammatory disease.

Albumin is a protein that is produced by your liver. We all have albumin show up in our labs. Mine, 2 weeks ago was 4.2. Up to a value of 5.0 is still considered normal. Higher values can show dehydration. Seems that dehydration affects all of our values.
