I just had my pre-nephrologist labwork. I decided to call the Neph's office and ask if he would like me to have my labwork done before my appointment so that we could discuss the results in person. They called me back and said he said yes,and ordered the labs! This will be my first visit with the Neph.

My previous labwork was ordered by my Cardiologist and the advice I got from the P.A. was to drink more water. I've increased my water consumption to around 10 glasses of water daily. My creatinine dropped to .95 from 1.2, and my eGFR went up to 64 from 45. I guess there is something to increasing water consumption!

That is very good news and kudos to you for asking for the labs before the visit and kudos to the doctor for saying yes. Looks like the beginning of a great relationship
