my wife she’s inside transplant list since last January. For us is new journey and nobody know when the call will come. I would try to prepare myself in a best possible way. Even from “logistic” standpoint. To whom who did had transplant I would please ask if any suggestion either before or after. What should be prepared in advance, any recommendation at home after surgery, any behavior good practice, whatever can come at your mind is more than welcome.
Thanks in advance for sharing

If your wife is currently on dialysis then she will need to stay on top of her treatments. Continue to eat a balanced diet and if need be, you can ask her doctor to refer her to a renal dietitian. After a transplant, you will want to make sure she is not doing any vigorous movements or heavy lifting and continue to check with her transplant care team. Based on her medical history, the transplant care team will be able to give her a regimen to help her recover in a timely manner.
