Drain pain

I’ve been on PD for over a month. Still have significant pain. Surgeon didn’t suggest seeing if catheter was placed correctly although I’d hoped he would. Any suggestions?

Hi, same thing happened to me. I kept going back to surgeon who appeared to be clueless. Finally I went and had an X-ray. Go get an X-ray done!!! Please! My catheter had migrated to the right side of my stomach and he had to go back in and correct it and tack it down!!

I think it’s almost solved by changing the computer program. That should have been done before I had to push them

My hubby was on PD for some time and he never experienced drain pain. Keep looking for a solution; there's no reason for anyone to go through this situation. Sending encouragement your way.

They finally changed my computer chip and it’s helped a lot. Thanks
